Mini Gym 1 Ages 5+


Mini Gym 1 is the perfect starting point for older beginners who are ready to explore gymnastics! This class builds strength, coordination, and confidence while introducing the foundational skills of each event.


Skills they’ll work on:


  • Vault
    • Handstand timber fall onto a soft pit pillow
    • Bird–Soldier–Rocket drill to panel mats & springboard
    • Run, hurdle, & straight jump from springboard to floor
  • Bars
    Three-second chin hold on bar
    • Wall pullover finishing in a strong support hold
    • Support hold at mid-thigh for five seconds
  • Beam (Medium Height)
    • Forward, side, and backward walking
    • Straight jump on beam
    • Five-second relevé hold
  • Floor
    • Forward roll standing up without hands
    • Backward roll landing on feet
    • Handstand with feet touching vertical
    • Cartwheel with proper form


Mini Gym 1 is all about building a strong foundation, learning proper form, and gaining confidence—while keeping it fun and engaging!

Mini Gym 2 (Ages 5 & up) *must pass Mini Gym 1 or have equivalent skills 


Mini Gym 2 is designed for gymnasts ages 5+ who have successfully passed Mini Gym 1 or can confidently perform all of the skills from that level. In this class, gymnasts begin connecting movements, refining technique, and building strength as they work toward more advanced skills.


Skills they’ll work on:


  • Vault
    • Bounce handstand timber fall to a raised surface
    • Straight jump onto a raised surface
    • Superman vault from a run with hands on block or resi
  • Bars
    • Pullover
    • Cast
    • Back hip circle
  • Beam (Medium Height)
    • Forward, side, and backward relevé walks
    • Arabesque hold for 5 seconds
    • 75° handstand with feet touching
  • Floor 
    • Bridge kickover
    • Handstand forward roll
    • Round-off
    • Backward roll off panel with straight arms


Mini Gym 2 continues to grow strength, form, and confidence while introducing more challenging progressions in a supportive, fun environment!

Mini Gym 3 (Ages 5 & up) *must pass Mini Gym 1 & 2 or have equivalent skills


Mini Gym 3 is designed for gymnasts ages 5+ who have successfully passed Mini Gym 2
or can confidently perform all skills from that level. This class prepares gymnasts for higher-level recreational or competitive gymnastics by refining technique, improving power, and connecting more advanced skills.


Skills they’ll work on:


  • Vault
    • Straight jump onto resi or table trainer
    • Punch handstand timber fall onto resi
    • Sprint technique for power and speed
  •  Bars
    • Pullover
    • Sole circle dismount
    • Cast back hip circle
  • Beam
    • Split jump
    • Handstand on beam
    • Side handstand dismount
  • Floor
    • Back walkover
    • Straight-arm backward roll
    • Round-off to flat back


Mini Gym 3 builds strong foundations for advanced gymnastics—helping gymnasts master form, strength, and confidence while keeping the joy of the sport at the center of every class!

Mini Gym 4 *must pass Mini Gym 1, 2 & 3 or have equivalent skills 


Mini Gym 4 is designed for gymnasts who have successfully passed Mini Gym 3 or can confidently perform all skills from that level. This class focuses on polishing advanced skills, connecting tumbling passes, and preparing athletes for higher-level recreational or competitive gymnastics.

  • Vault
    • Handstand snap-down straight jump or front tuck into stack mats
    • Round-off to C-shape landing
    • Front handspring over resi or table trainer
  • Bars
    • Squat on
    • 3 glide swings & drop kip with spot
    • Pullover underswing dismount
  • Beam
    • Handstand on beam
    • Pivot–pivot turn
    • Half turn

    • Side handstand twist dismount
    • Cartwheel on beam
  •  Floor
    • Full (1/1) turn
    • Front handspring step-out
    • Standing back handspring

    • Back handspring (connected)
    • Back extension roll with straight arms


Mini Gym 4 develops advanced strength, precision, and connection—helping gymnasts move toward competitive readiness while keeping classes supportive, structured, and fun.

Mini Gym 5 *must pass Mini Gym 1, 2, 3 & 4 or have equivalent skills


Mini Gym 5 is designed for athletes who have mastered foundational gymnastics skills and are ready to combine power, technique, and confidence across all events. This class focuses on refining form, increasing strength, and connecting skills while continuing to build a strong technical base for future competitive or advanced recreational levels.

    • Front handspring over vault
    • Front handspring with two-foot rebound
    • Candlestick jump onto resi
  • Floor Tumbling & Dance
    • Round-off to flat back
    • Front tuck or front pike
    • Cartwheel

    • 1/1 turn
    • Split leap (90° or better)
  •  Beam
    • Jump to high bar
    • Kip
    • Cast above horizontal
